KOMAK received a $2,000 grant from Centennial High School Community 101.
Community 101 involves students through service, leadership and philanthropy. Funding is provided by the Harry & Marguerite Kendall Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation and the PGE Foundation. These funds allow students to learn about volunteering and grant making. The student selected KOMAK as the recipient of this grant.

Komak receives $10,000 grant from Driven to Care, Discount Tire /America’s Tire
Driven to Care, the Discount Tire/America’s Tire regional philanthropy program. Bruce T. Halle, the founder of Discount Tire, the Bruce T. Halle Family Foundation and those at Discount Tire /America’s Tire value giving back to their community. This Philanthropic arm of the organization works to improve the quality of lives in the Discount Tire community.
Komak receives funds from Richard L. Berman Family Trust of the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation
Komak received $2,357.44 from the Richard I. Berman Family Trust of the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation in memory of Merle Greenstein a founding member who also served as President of Komak

Komak Receives Donation from Carol & Velma Saling Foundation
The Carol and Velma Saling Foundation awarded Komak a generous donation to benefit a qualified Komak client in need of immediate interim assistance as a result of his or her cancer diagnosis. The Carol and Selma Saling Foundation, based in Portland, Oregon, was funded in February 2006 to help entities promoting the relationship between citizens and government; providing services to underprivileged groups; or promoting the relationship between people and the environment.
